Default keyless entry problem...

when i first got my car, 1 of the keys worked perfectly and the other sporadically....

now both don't work in locking/unlocking the doors etc...

i am assuming that the batteries have died on my keys and that this is the cause of my problem

does anybody know how much a battery is to replace, and if there may be another reason for this malfunctioning.

Pressing the keys make no sound at all, and the button is definitiely on the ON position.

its a 92 sc.

battery costs about $3 - $5 at any Radio shack. You need a small screwdriver to open your remote key and bring your battery to any Radio Shack for replacement.
I had the same problem. easy fix

I have a problem with my keyless entry. I thought it was the battery, so I replaced it, and it didn't work. Any idea where the keyless entry unit is in the SC?

Thanks,
-Brian.

the chip goes under the drivers side steering well...if that's the case you need a new chip its gonna run you about 300 bucks.
