If all the planets align, you guys will SEE why tommorow, but just getting a little feedback right now:

I'm asking about Diamond Audio's D7 series amps, Hex series components, and TDX series subs.

Open forum.

Opinions, experiences, read about, hear about, cousin gossiped about.....anything.

Not at all a fan of the components. b ought a pair in early 2000 without being able to hear them, solely going on the reputation of the earlier models. I was not aware that they had changed manufacturing plants from Germany (Eton) to China, and wish I had. They had little midbass, VERY harsh tweeters, and had no composure at high volumes. I would definitely recommend listening to the components before buying.

As for the subs, the Macdaddy's were great, though pricey. The amps were of similar quality, at least when they were made by Esoteric, though I don't believe Diamond has made any changes...

Yes these were good speakers but the company itself is having problems. I know of people that had big jobs with this company and they have been released and rumor has it that they are struggling.
The speakers themself used to have a great rep but the dealer near me says they aren't the speaker they used to be.
I still think they are good but better out there like ADS or MB Quart Q series.

I used to run the HEX seperates about 7 cars ago...its been probably 5 years since then, maybe they changed since then...but I thought they were great speakers back then.
