She's back!...almost
Hey guys,
Finally my IS is almost fully repaired from the accident. It's been a long 6 months! I thought for sure that it was going to be declared totaled, but they decided to repair her instead. The estimated cost of the repairs is over $20,000.
I was going to go for the whole bodykit and kuboodle, but decided that just having her back the way she was, was the best for me...except for a few additions.
I have Commerce Insurance and they are a B*tch to deal with regarding aftermarket parts. I'm lucky to have gotten as much done as I have...(does this sound right?)
The longest wait was for the Volk rim to be replaced. It had to be special ordered and it took 5 months to get!
The additions are:
Black Chrome Taillights
Black Chrome Emblems
Lextasy "Real" Carbon Fiber Grille
Lextasy Carbon Fiber Intake
Clear sidemarkers
JDM Dashtray
Airstream Armrest
*Kudos to fob2000 for the dashtray and Joe Z for the armrest!
I'm still waiting to replace the stock radio...cd player not working and a little more touch up on the body work.
Here are some current pics...
The armrest is not installed, but I managed to just place some CD's in the storage compartment to hold it place until I get the chance to get it done.
Feedback...?
Thanks!
