Default About XsuperjoeX

I think we should all refrain from posting anything about Saturday night. or even commenting on any subject on IS300.net

When Joe is good and ready to share what happened. Then and only then will it be made public knowledge. Events are too personal. Good luck Joe.

BDR.

Well guys.....I really don't know what to say...other than I'm sorry(especially to Jay)..and thanks for the support.

Last night really opened up my eyes about life...I really thought we were going to die....walking away from last nights' accident unscaved is nothing short of a miracle.

I realized when I got home that my parents really didn't give a crap about my car or my payments or my bills....when I told them that my side was hurting they jumped all over me checking my whole body making sure I was OK...you have no idea how much I appreciated that.

You guys feel free to talk about last night I have no problem with it...I have already moved on.

If Big Black is out of commission then I won't be a Lexus owner anymore...as I no longer would be able to afford it. If the shop can repair Big Black, I don't know if I'll want him back.?(tear)

Well screw the car I just Thank God Jay and myself are not hurt, Thank God I didn't hit anyone or anything especially anything yellow

Thanks everyone for the comfort and the support last night at Roy's I really appreciate it.

P.S. If someone can post up a description of what happened I would appreciate it...I do not have the spirit to re-live lastnight again as I couldn't get the images out of my head and out of my dreams.

Thank You Everyone...and again I am very truly sorry.

Joe... fear not I lost the back end of my car (My first blue IS300)the EXACT same way (Banked Right curve, where elevation drops -- It was like Deja- Vous when I saw it) coming home one night on the Bronx River Pkwy. Lucky for me, I ended up off the road in the grass, not on concrete.

Im just glad you are ok and nobody else got involved in a potentially scary mass accident.

AND... you didnt not spoil anyones night. We are all friends here, dont feel like you ruined anything. Accidents happen. it happens to us all. It was just a matter of time before it picked on someone in our bunch (besides Tical).

There is a lesson to be learned in all of this, believe it or not. Drive safe, and have fun. We can all pay $45 and drag the **** out of our cars on the 1/4 mile track, or at an autocross. Let's not do it to under unsafe conditions.

Joe.. I hear the 2003 Civic Si is pretty quick!!

*This is Jay just incase dont know*

It is definitely too bad that this whole event happened but I hope this really opens everyone's eyes to what can happen when you do race and why you SHOULD NOT race.

I know Joe did his best to keep the car on the road and prevent us from getting hurt more than we did. It is too bad that the lesson had to be learned the hard way, but atleast we were alright. I hope your still feeling okay Joe.

I was definitely scared at the point when we lost control because I knew that we were gonna hit the side cement and the thoughts of flipping got closer and closer. I think Joe's weight kept us from flipping. But I think everyone should keep this event in the back of their mind while driving.

I had a friend who is not living right now. He owned the same Eclipse (2000) as I do. One late night while cruising down the highway at 120+ mph to see his girlfriend, he lost control and hit a guardrail on the Mass pike. It wasnt one of the cement ones but instead of the ending of the rail curving towards the ground, it stuck out straight. He lost control of the car and went straight through the guard rail "shishkabobbing" the car going from the front windshield all the way through the back trunk and stuck out. The guardrail went through part of his rightside paralyzing him. He fought to live but ending up dying in the hospital.

Events like these should make us step back and evaluate our lives and how fast they can go and how valueable they really are! Driving 100+ mph down the highway and weaving in and out of traffic might be enjoyable to some, but your life can end at the snap of a finger. I am just relieved that we were both ok and nothing worse happened.

Just PLEASE be careful everyone when you drive. I dont want anyone to end up worse than the accident last night. It was very scary and really shook me up like never before. Just the thoughts of the accident make it very tough.

Joe, email me at M3GEclipseRS@aol.com and lemme know how you are doing.

Glad everything's cool with your parents.

And I wouldn't worry about Jay too much. Homo's come and go. You know how it is.

I can understand about not wanted Big Black anymore, but if you change your mind, I have a body shop that may be able to help out a bit. Just in case.

Glad you're ok man.
I'll see you at the next meet.

And as Rich said, don't worry. You didn't spoil anyone's night. We were just glad you're ok.

Well guys i'm feeling ok...no sore spots...Thank God!

My car has major suspension damage front and rear...they still have to laser-test my frame to see if it's bent.

If the frame is bent...I don't want the car...(I'll buy a used civic or something) if it's just the suspension i'll take the car back.

I'll know by the end of this week-begining of next week.

Well, from what what I can gather, there was some racing, and a serious accident involving Joe and others.

Glad to hear you *all* are OK. Nothing else to say.
