Yes folks,
mark the calendar, Thanksgiving week/weekend. Instead of sucking down turkey and seeing relative and guests you cant stand but they came to your house to east all your pumpkin pie and drink all your Grey Goose, why not take a nice trip care free with or without your significant other to sunny DR?

I did this last year and I am surely doing it again this Thanksgiving. Oh yeah, I had Thanksgiving dinner at the resort, I didnt miss the long lines at Costco or cooking and washing dishes aoo Thursday.

1 of the best places to go..Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, the capitol etc. & the American dollar gives you an unheard amount of pesos!

Depends what ur trying to do... If you want to relax and be babied around some of the beautiful beaches around, i say Punta Cana... wanna party hard and not care too much about the luxury but still want beaches, Puerto Plata

Santo Domingo and Santiago are good to good the real Dominican Experience

and the exchange rate isnt too crazy, about 30 pesos per dollar

 

yeah I know, I have a villa in a resort in Puerto Plata. place is bananas. (no pun intended) I need to do with some DR folks who know the local spots

Sounds good although I'm not a fanatic of DR..I had high fever for 3 days when I visited last year, not a pleasant experience...Even though I didn't drink any of the water as directed, I still got really sick...But you guys really should go, Viagra is over the counter!! Fun in the sun for sure..

 

Yeah I just came back from DR. It was crazy during the Christmas season. Crazy parties, mad women everywhere, simply BANANAS. Back to reality to this crazy new England Weather.
