Me, the big dumb bell - "Oh so that's where that little dumb bell went!"

I tried to look and did reach under the seats, but missed it far up under the driver's seat.

When I sent the car by flatbed home to Havasu from Mesa a month ago, we packed it up with a bunch of stuff, including my wife's therapy dumb bells. I put them on the floor in back so they couldn't become projectiles. I must have forgotten there were two...actually 3 including me...

Apparently the wiring is damaged, and Lexus recommends replacing about $1300 worth of stuff. On my bill of course.

I guess the bright side is, not a LC500 issue for the rest of us to worry about, dumbbells aside. LOL

Trunk, rear seat, passenger seat and floor areas were full to the gills with stuff. We moved 200 miles with 1 fully loaded vehicle for a six months medical trip. Returned with 2 vehicles and enough stuff to fill them both!

Well I finally got the car back with no obvious damage except to my wallet. Only some minor surface swirls, as they 'cleaned' the car a few times as it was out in the rain a few days. State Farm is sending me a check for some of the bill minus my $1000 comprehensive deductible. And Lexus is providing for a complete detail next time I have dealer access.

All's well that ends well!

Good to hear of the favorable outcome!
