hey so i just wired a amp into my car and now the airbag light is flashing when the car is on.. i have searched and did find the fix but i just want to make sure that the flashing is normal and it doesnt mean something else is wrong. other then a code 22

check www.lexls.com and look at the code diagnostics...tells u how to remove that code.

Airbag light flashing is not normal at all. means there is something wrong with the airbag system. What did you wire your amp to? Code 22, IIRC, is a coolant temp sensor. Go back and double check your connections, clear the code and see if it pops up again.

well i think what might have happened was the key may have been in the on position when the power wire was plugged in. wouldnt that do it?

That vey well may have done so. You are gonna have to clear the code to make sure it doesnt come back again.

I really do need a new manual. Have an Haynes Computer Code manual, had it about 7 years, it has code 22 as a coolant temp sensor. LOL!! Live and learn.
