Default Out with the old, in with the new

Turning in my 2016 FType S convertible for new LC 500. Going to miss that vert during the Spring but know the 500 is going to be a fun new ride.

Looking forward to participating on this forum over the next few years.

Happy trails!

Welcome! Amazing how your LC makes the FType look kind of boxy in that particular photo.

Great ride!

How many cars can you get for 100k that most of the automotive press agree looks like a SPACESHIP?

F-Type S is an amazing ride. What made you trade in?

I had a lot of fun with the Ftype. It's hard to beat a convertible and a manual transmission. Like any car, the Jag has some issues. I had mine in a 30 month lease. It was in the shop for 7 weeks during that time - all for electrical issues. Obviously the ride was pretty rough and although the interior was nice, it didn't compare to the Lexus.

I had a good run with the Jag and expect to have as much fun with the LC500.

I was about to pull the trigger on the Jag F-Type when I came across the LC. At the end of the day, the LC offered two things for me over the F-Type: (1) While the Jag is a beauty (most likely will be a more timeless look), the LC's "tomorrow" design and the uniqueness factor tilted me in Lexus' direction. (2) Good ol' Toyota quality. A neighbor of mine had a 2017 F-Type she finally got so frustrated with she traded in.
