As crazy as it mite sound; I would be tempted to drive car back just the way it appears if I was certain there was no preexisting paint damage underneath and reassured that protective shipping plastic especially on hood would not come off at highway speed.....Don't do it tho, cuz no one can give you that guarantee.
The 16 hour drive was Amazing! Me and my 19 year old son absolutely loved drive the LC for 16 hours straight. I have the Dynamic Package - so spot seats with Alcantara. I am 225 6 feet and my son is like 180 6.3 feet. We were very comfortable the whole ride. We stoped in DC for 1.5 hours for a very fast tour. We also hit a few package stores (AL has terrible sin taxes and everywhere else seems drastically cheaper than AL).
