I'm at the Melbourne, Fl Lexus for my 20k service.
I checked with a Sales Weasel. At least here, no 2023 LC ordering, base, bespoke, or Inspiration. He's gonna check with the New Car manager in a bit and see if he can find out what they are being alloted.

BruceinFla,
Melbourne is one of the Lexus sites I check regularly. Not sure if there are any rules regarding when dealers post allocations of non "sale pending" cars but Im pretty sure they don't do it right away. I'm working with a dealer who, once he gets their allocations, will look at allocations at other dealers and try to trade before the car actually gets shipped to the dealer. Once it is, it's harder to make these sorts of trades unless they're both in the same region.
At least that's what he says - but it seems to make sense.
I'm not impressed with this dealer at all. The COPY of the window sticker on it wasn't even for This car. Hey, I'm sure it's just me but for 115k I'd think they could at least round up the actual window sticker for it.

^^^ this is the process. If the car you want doesn't match one from their allocation -- unlikely for an LC, but their more common models like an RX sure -- then they trade another dealer for the car that most closely matches your spec. Toyota is well known in the industry for "lean manufacturing", which minimizes waste and maximizes production efficiency. And while that works fantastically well for Toyota Corollas and Lexus RX's, for a high-end Lexus that they sell ~1500 of a year those customers want custom.
Bespoke was supposed to change all that -- just for specific spec levels of the coupes -- but I've never read a story about a dealer understanding and successfully implementing a bespoke build.

I noticed the Lexus of Bellevue (Wa) has a (new) bespoke coupe build for sale. I assume the buyer flaked/backed out. I doubt they’ll ultimately have a problem selling it, loaded but pretty pricey for a coupe.
