Just traded in my lc 500
I traded in my 2021 infrared carmel coupe with 4800 miles in pristine condition. Replacing it with 2022 lc 500 convertible same colors sand top. Don't daily drive, more of a fun car and love open top driving. Also own 2017 911 cabriolet. Thought about convertible shortly after purchasing coupe and decided to pull the trigger now before used car prices start coming down. Looked on cars.com for convertibles in my color choices, not many available. Then I called my local dealor and talked to manager (always talk to managers salesman know nothing) and he said they had a 2022 red carmel lc vert coming in soon. I told him if numbers were right on trade-in I'd take it. I know it's late in season for 2022 but 2023 is a long wait and no changes. Car is on ship heading to NY Oct. 12 due at dealor Oct. 26. can't wait. Paid MSRP for vert with no add-ons. Another local dealor wanted 10,000 over for his lc convertible. Got 89000 for my trade-in (generous offer I think) only paid 92000 back in Oct. 2020 10% off -good old days. Did lose the money I spent on PPF but overall happy with the deal. Just wanted to share I'll be joining the convertible owners here soon. I know I should have bought the convertible in the first place but realized it after owning coupe for a while.

Good to hear that you are happy with your dea!
….But you do know that the dealer will be selling your 2021 with less than 5k miles for at least 99K+.
Greedy lil boogers!

^^^^Base Model? LC911JEFF has an LC Coupe with the Touring Package, doubt it's stripped

either way, deal is done, most importantly jeff is happy! seemed like quite a reasonable deal to me, all good.
Bit...Just goes to show how out of touch you are with today’s market. I can’t tell you exactly what these cars are selling for cause I haven’t bought one But whether you consider it greedy or not, these Low mileage LC’s in excellent condition are being marketed at these prices. Everybody knows that!
good point i thought that when he said he got it for 92k (which was base price) plus he said he's getting a vert without add-ons but then verts typically come with more included than coupe i think?

but in terms of "greedy dealers" we might want to elevate our act here a little and agree that big bad car dealers are actually just like you and me with
mortgages and kids in college, and a right to the good life, and to be free of the constant pejorative that their hearts must not be as pure as yours and mine,
just cause they sold you yer f ing car
My lc coupe window sticker was 102000 but I paid 92000. The convertible is 113160 both well equipped. I realize 89000 is wholesale price but I certainly didn't want the hassle of trying to sell it myself.Good news is I enjoyed the car for 2yrs and almost 5000 miles for 3 grand. I hope the dealor does sell it for 99000 a win win for both of us.
