I was entering the freeway and an 18 wheeler flew on next to me going 90mph and squeezed me out then forced me to run up on a curb. Im thinking the truck didn't see me at all. It was either run the curb or get side swiped.
I popped the tire and slightly damaged the rim. I told the dealer to check to see if the strut was damaged and they are telling me they will replace the rim & tire then do a front end alignment. Then test drive the car to see if the strut is damaged. That makes no sense to me! I would think they could put it on a rack and see if it damaged or not. Im thinking if the rim was damaged then the strut is gone!
Thanks and I even got a pic of the plate and cops say they can do nothing. Minor damage but don't want to be driving on a bad strut. Insurance is covering this as well.
I didn't take pictures of my flat tire. Also I didn't even know the rim was bent on the inside. Dealer told me that. You must be one of those guys that takes pics of his food and then texts people the photo.
