How fast have you had your LC? And what kind of road? {Really hoping for some WFO stories.} I'm curious about the LCs behavior At Speed.

Wayyyy back in the day I got my Ferrari F355 up to 157mph on a backroad highway with the top down—you start to feel the imperfections in the road at that speed so I slowed down. LoL.

 

I got as high as 268km (167mph) before traffic forced me to slow down. With the LC500h differential i have on my car, I am now limited to 152mph so I will never be able to break my own record again I think!

 

I have yet to do any sustained speeding in my LC. I like you, will bust out from 80 to 110 when the traffic allows. I try not to get busted with that super speeder ticket. I guess it's a 'man thang' when you respond to another car that is also speeding! It happened just the other day while I was being chased by a guy in a C8 Corvette....... Of course, I let him catch me.

Wonder what the top speed of the LC500 would be with the limiter removed? With Loi's tune removing the speed limiter someone should find an empty road in Mexico 😎and find out how stable the car is beyond 170 mph🤔

Below is a member here with a ISF with just a Borla exhaust and coilovers that did 187mph!

 

I had the car up to 119 and didn't even know it.

 

I have had mine up to 157 for about 5 continuous minutes on highway 207 between Borger & Panhandle Texas at about 5:30am on a Sunday. Felt like I was crawling when I slowed down to 75.

I posted this picture on this forum previously. Highway 60 near the Very Large Array. Notice I was on cruise control at this speed. Did this for about 20 miles. Yes- the Escort radar detector was on! hahahaha

In my LC only 80mph on the interstate. I’ve yet to even floor it even for a short distance. More fun to me to drive 35 in a 50 and let people see me. Ha! Love this car! Was 135mph in a Nissan 300ZX and went 200 miles in it one time averaging 110. A lot younger then. Why I don’t go fast now.

 

Reviewers like to hate on the 10 speed but I think being able to cruise 131mph at 2400rpm is straight up badass

 

Agreed!! i was doing 100km/h (~60mph) and it was sitting at 1200rpm. I was like WTF, its idle basically.
