You’re in Hawaii so are you driving the convertible or coupe and if you do not mind what color Ex/Interior?
Thanks

I got my '18 just as Covid was spooling up. It was exactly the colors I wanted but 700 miles away. A small family lot in Charlotte, NC. I think they were concerned about the timing of Covid and their inventory. They actually cut 5k off my price. Thanks to that I didn't mind paying extra to fly out of Melbourne and not the OIA Holando nightmare. 200 yards from my car door to the TSA line. It's a beautiful thing whatever it costs.

It was ''21, I got my '18 SGM, Rioja, 17k miles for 76k out the door. Essentially brand new still under factory warranty for 25% OFF new price.

Even though it took most of my disposible cash, IMO, I would have been an idiot Not to have.

I'm 74, so I can't remember or figure out how old I was in 2018 when I bought my new 2018 from Superstition Lexus in Mesa, AZ. That glowing red exterior paint and black interior. $88K OTD. Or my 2016 Vette trade in + $43K.
I bought the LC simply as an enjoyable mental distraction and focus, as my wife was near death with her terrible medical issues.
That worked for me, and she recovered over the next few years. We then enjoyed the LC a few more years before selling it off, as we really no longer drove it much. I think it was 2022 when we sold it for $82K.
Whenever I see an LC, it still gives me a brief mental boost. Still looking so beautiful!

I would love an LC if I won the lottery but double the price of the ES350 and I wanted a simple reliable daily driver so no complaints. I have a BMW M3 for performance that I want to sell.

Always wanted an LC. Last year saw a MY23 Infrared convertible on the Porsche used lot w 1,750 miles. Wife said, you should get that, so I did.
Paid cash because, well, what am I saving it for?

I bought my LC one month before my 38th bday. Have not regretted it for a single second!

Yes, could not be more pleased. Changed out the RFTs for Michelin All Seasons. New wider wheels and tires give a much nicer ride. Enjoy paddle shifting, esp the sounds when downshifting. My first convertible, so that's nice around town in S+ mode. Enjoy planning cosmetic customizations w black chrome pieces and wrapping a few parts. Can't see ever selling the car, and it should depreciate less once they stop making it in a few years. The LC is really a very special car. Used to dream of a 911 but that doesn't happen anymore.

A month ago, my local Lexus of Melbourne had an '18 and '19 LC. They were asking 70k and 71k respectively. The '18 was Atomic Silver with the factory polished aluminum 20's, 20k miles. If you use my '18 as a comparison, the LoM '18 has only depreciated 5k in 3 yrs. (IF you assume the dealer sold for their advertised price which they Never do.)

I don't think they lasted 2 weeks before they were gone. They actually have a '24 Infrared Vert now that they say is New.

Rob,
I appreciate your feedback. The Porsche 911 is iconic and I have driven them and familiar with their numerous attributes. However I want a premium level robustly constructed grand touring car that’s fast enough while being superbly composed and comfortable. 911 is a very capable sports car as opposed to an upper tier GT car experience. Different strokes.

for sports car as much as I am a fan of Lexus, I would get a Porsche 911 or Cayman for my fun weekend sports car.
