It depends on the dealer, when I bought my other car, my local dealer always has something for me. But when I bought the LC from Florida, I asked them about Lexus free gift. But they said they have none.

Here's what I got from Lexus Of Arlington in Chicago when I bought my 21 convertible:
No leather key gloves as paid for. When I texted the salesman later to mail them to me, he replied "maybe" and I never heard from him again.
No programming of the LPS firmware settings. "Nobody around here has heard of that, don't know what you're talking about."
Salesman stole my credit card. I read the number over the phone for a 10k deposit on a Friday, wired the rest Monday. 3 weeks later on a trip, my card was canceled due to $800 in purchases in several US cities. No one else ever had access to the card number with CVV besides Vladimir the Lexus salesman.
Here's what I got from Lexus of Knoxville when I took the car for the 1000 mile initial checkup service:
A free 50-cent car wash in a Broadway rotary slap-washer which put swirls all over the factory finish on a new $113,000 car. They sure were proud to return it to me clean, because that's just great dealer service.
Here's what I got from Lexus America customer service:
Sorry about that, whatever it was you were upset about, enjoy your new Lexus though.
Cynthia Tenhouse, VP of customer service for Lexus America sent a do-not-reply email above her signature thanking me for the purchase. I wanted to speak to her directly, since she signed off on an email to a buyer of their halo car, to let her know what I think of Lexus America and its service. Stone wall. Even wrote her via LinkedIn. Zip.
Buy the LC. Never return to the dealer for the 1000 mile checkup or the free oil change at 5000 (where you'll receive non-synthetic oil). You have a good product made carefully in Japan, but once it is brought to the US, you're entirely on your own for proper service and self preservation...Lexus/Toyota are no longer involved for any benefit to you once they ship your car.
If you'd bought an Aston, you'd have better customer care and service...unfortunately the Aston would likely require it. The Lexus won't, it is the better product, but after dealing with the Lexus dealers, you'll wish you had bought the Aston.
I bought my LC from Lexus of Lincoln Nebraska and drove it home to Arizona. I flew in to the Omaha Airport and they picked me up. I got no "free merch" not did I ask for any. I don't want or need a bunch of junk, the LC was enough - Thank You! The Lexus dealers have treated my well, IMHO. I have no complaints. As far as a wash, when I go to a dealer I tell them not to wash the car and they comply. I got my key gloves without issue. I negotiated over the phone for the car and paid a $10K down payment with my Lexus Visa - No shenanigans with the card.
BTW, Lexus of Lincoln gave me 30 day tags - No Charge. Also no doc fees or any fees associated with the deal and they took a personal check.
Edsel i hope you roasted these guys on the new car customer survey and social media. This is unnacceptable and im pretty sure if corporate USA HQ knew about this, they would bend over backwards trying to make you happy. Honestly, one of lexus's key pillar is
Omotenashi
The Japanese word for hospitality is omotenashi. It implies an insightful understanding of customer wants and needs, thoughtful caring about each customer's well-being and treating people as true individuals.
If you didnt get that, they've failed one of their key pillars.
I wanted a lot of "junk", some of you dont, but i can confidently say my lexus experience(s) (see how many ive purchased below) have all been spectacular. Not a single hiccup.
edsel… Sorry to hear that your experience with Lexus Dealerships has been one bad nitemare that seems to never end. My preferred Lexus dealer sent me a magnum sized bottle of red wine, a crystal wine decanter, a structural blue leather tray and a nice wine bottle opener as gifts when I purchased my LC unsolicited. Overall, dealers in the Atlanta area are pretty good but my experiences have been mixed. So I choose to spend my money at dealers who treat me best. I have standing orders to never wash my LC and dealers comply. I also had an occasion where I had to leave my LC in service for an extended period of time to allow for a part on order. My preferred Lexus dealer paid my car payment for time in service and also set me up with a loaner LS 500 while I was waiting on repair. Now that was the kind of service I’ve come to expect from Lexus. Overall, like sick… and Bad..., I am a happy camper. So I guess its true that not all dealers are created equal.

LoL….anybody who has owned a nice car knows to tell the dealer HANDWASH OR NO WASH when dropping said car off for service.
i told my dealership i wanted a "beach" theme swag pack. I love taking the RX down to long beach washington. Its amazing, you can drive straight onto the beach and just chill out there next to the surf.
I got a bunch of Lexus pens and two brochures I grabbed from the sales floor I was decently happy with the purchase experience, nothing really wowed me, which is a bit disappointing at spending so much on a car, but the car itself was the prize so I didn't really care about anything else that day anyway! I remember buying a Saturn back in the day with my parents; the dealer employees all gathered around your new car and did the "Saturn Cheer." It was awesome/incredibly embarassing.
My Dealer took off the 3M half hood and reduced the price by $450. That was $450 in my pocket. I’m also getting 3 services complementary. I didn’t ask for merchandise.

Did you replace it with full 3M? I currently have the half hood too, it looks stupid but I'm annoyed at having to spend money to take it off and do a full one. I'll have to do it eventually, just wanted to enjoy the car a bit first!
