At this point, getting it clear PPF'd would add little value IMO, just because you'd be able to see the damage/chips through the film. You can use PPF, but now some shops can get you GLOSS BLACK PPF - which provides protection alongside the benefit of hiding the chips. You can also go with @sickpuppy 's recommendation of wrapping it with a vinyl wrap to the color of your choice (or CF look like his).

But still its such a small area hard to get a pro to commit to it. I was hoping for it to be something more I could do. Like some 3m film that could be applied. Although bending and stretching it may be a challenge.
do you have any experience with something like this? if not, just get a shop to do it! i doubt it will be that expensive and you have an LC, not a civic.

I assume you have to replace the entire grille if I went with something new?
i think the chrome part is part of the front bumper, but maybe it comes off separately somehow?

As far as cost, I don't know, I had more than just the grill done. Look Here:

Total for all was $535.
Hey again SickPuppy. So you did use A&M Graphic Wraps on Gilbert Road? They gave me a quote for $775 to do my areas in Carbon Fiber. I can show you the areas I thought would look good if you think that helps me make sure it isn't a bad idea. You did say you were happy with their work right?

^^^^Yes., their work was fine. on a scale of 1-10 - I'd give them an 8½. The wrap on the right taillight has the weave going in the wrong direction. I didn't catch it until I got home. Other than that everything's fine.

Thanks boss, I will make sure to note that before I have them do it. Glad I asked. Here are the areas I thought of having done.
