When I state the voice command: "play song more than a feeling" (or any other song) from my USB drive, the system states: "the music catalogue is being loaded, pleas try again later" Can any of you good LC people help me resolve this?

how many songs do you have on the usb flash drive, and what kind of usb flash drive is it?
for example, if you have a ton of songs and it's a cheap/slow usb flash drive it will take the car a while to wade through that lot.

haha i've had good luck asking for directions or navigation to a specific address or POI. i use it for that and making phonecalls.

 

Most AI systems in new cars are now more sensitive to Tone. If you change pitch and tone of your voice, AI will probably be more responsive.

 

Speaking of AI, I drove my car crossing the state line into the other state, and the car automatic said Welcome to (the State name). It surprised me, because I did not open the Navigation at all. Maybe even it not turn on, it still working in the background. That is my best guess.

 

^^^^And if you crossed a time line your clock would have reset.

 

I figured it out, it just didn't like the song you queued up. hahahaha

Ugh I live in a tri-state area and cross between states all the time; it does this constantly. It was cool at first but now it's annoying.

 

Wow - never knew this. I actually crossed FL/GA state line, and I don't recall my LC telling me that. What year is yours? I have a 2018.

 

you can turn this off.

in my manual it says:

 “State border guidance” Select to set cross-border guidance on/off.

 

Mine is a 2021.
