Bri... OK. I hear ya! But I am not knocking folks who prefer to own the ‘H’. I just said that I would not prefer to be one. I just fundamentally have a hard time seeing the LC as an economy car and cannot appreciate the value of an ‘H’. However, I will consider an all electric when the time is right.
Agree with you. EVs are not fully mature yet in terms of battery technology. Current batteries are simply too heavy/bulk and cost too much. I can see Solid State Batteries being mainstream in about 10 years.
I lived in Santa Barbara for twenty seven years in the 70s, 80s and 90s. In the nineties I had a 92 5MT Lexus SC300. California requires a front plate, however I chose not to comply. One weekend I took a young lady to the movies and parked in unground parking under the mall. I was parked with my front facing the wall. When I came out after the movie, there was a ticket on my windshield. That SC was the first car I ran without a front plate and I was only hassled that one time. Now in Arizona, no front plate required

I am in the bay area, front license plate are mandatory on toll road / bridges.
BTW, I had a 92 SC400, what a car. On one particular trip with the GF (wife now), took the SC from the Bay to Monterey, San Simeon (stayed a night at Cavalier Resort), Solvang, Santa Barbara, LA, San Diego. Great trip and memories.
After driving the SC for 5 years, sold it and went with a BMW E39 540i, worst mistake of my life. I still missed the SC.
A new one for me.
Did about 300 miles today in my SGM 18.
Some on the Fl Turnpike. I needed to send a text so I pulled into a service plaza. I noticed a car get off Right behind me.
He pulls in and parks beside me.
Late 20s guy gets out of his car. Phone in hand. He's a little excited.
I've been looking for a LC on the road, yours is the 1st one I've seen.
Could I take a couple pics of it?
😳
Of course he could.
I reminded him that they will make at least 10 times as many 22 Vettes as they will LCs
Bruce in Melbourne, Fl
You should have charged him $50 a picture. Or carry some print out pictures of it and sign them and then charge $100 each
^^^^How is that enforceable for out of state folks?
BTW - I went from the SC to an Infiniti G35 6MT - HUGE Mistake
Gave the SC to a step son who promptly sold it
G35 6MT ain't that bad. After 4 years of the 540i and many small issues, I was glad it was totaled by the idiot who rear ended me at 880 Southbound (Those of you in the Silicon Valley should know), he just couldn't stop in time. The whole rear trunk section was caved in.
