Looked at parts diagram and did’t quite get it what package tray is. On some pictures it shown like cover near the rear window, on convertible it shown like cover above compartment where soft top goes in. On one diagram it was shown as part of the trunk close to the rear section where the license plate goes. So I am puzzled what it is. Will inspect the trunk area and Yamaha damper, maybe that one makes some sound. Today I heard it when was almost stopped no movement and then suddenly knock. So weird I can’t even reference to what movement will characterize it more. Badhobz, did you figure out yours?

the steering wheel squeal? yeah i just sprayed some Silcone lube and it was done. I had an intermittent little "pop" sound when the body flexes over an angle/speed bump but it seemed to have resolved itself during the warmer months. Must be just some plastic trim that's rubbing against another plastic trim. heat solves all issues.

Continue my investigation. Yesterday I removed everything from the trunk and went for a test ride with top down. Not a single nock or pop , nothing. Today in the morning was driving to work, again top down, and no single nock sound. On a way back I was driving top up and nocking sound returned. So it must be something inside a compartmen were top stored. So maybe some pieces which are hanging free making that sound when car body rolling.

It looks like I found the root of the sound. Look at the picture below. The cover of top compartment when I push on the area right down after the panel bends so where in the middle it clicks. On an opposite side there is no sound. The clicking sound is kinda same as if you would push on a fuel cover, but not that loud. I will try to push it when top is down.
does any one know how to access that panel from inside. I may try to open top partially and look inside rised cover right? Any recommendations.

well now that you narrowed it down, i wouldnt start ripping things open yourself. Take it in and let them sort it out.
Can you also take a video showing what that sound... eruhh... sounds like?
