Default 2022 Lexus LC: What's New and Notable?

Just read this article.
https://www.motor1.com/news/544325/2...c-500-updates/

Lexus is following in the footsteps of many luxury brands by launching an in-depth owner customization program. Called Bespoke Build, Lexus offers the service only for LC 500 models fitted with the sport package. From there, the floodgates are opened on all kinds of options that are both exclusive to the service, or were previously available only on special edition models. Buyers can choose between numerous colors and color combinations for the exterior and interior, but it also offers choices for wheels, spoilers, and the carbon fiber roof, which is now exclusive to Bespoke Build.
I would be HIGHLY interested in custom order of LC500 coupe if i can get the exact spec with interior/exterior plus Rear wheel steering, CF trim etc.

Does anybody have more info yet?

This is what I’m used to with Porsche / BMW and have been clamoring for years for Lexus to do.

Yes can’t wait!

It will be super cool if we can track the car from build to delivery. Porsche even sends you pics of the car during the build process.

They better have some nice blue colors for exterior and black out trim for the chrome grill etc

This seems to be really nothing new at all with the exception of some slightly different options available and color choices. A buyer has been able to configure his/her LC and order as he/she wishes (with approval from the Lexus 'mothership') since day one of the LC's production. This is the way I purchased my 2018 LC.

I am curious to see just how Lexus is gonna build this option. I think DR is correct. There are only a limited number of options available. Most of which are only selectable in a Lexus Packaging Plan. I don't see them selling these cars much different than they do already.

I’ve seen a Bentley that had a mother of pearl semblance of their yacht inlaid into the exotic wood and piano black accents on the dash, came that way from Crewe.

I’m sure they can do your plane or the equation that won you the Nobel prize. If you need that.

It may not exactly be old, but Lexus has updated the LC convertible a bit for 2022.

I’m still waiting for the 2022 build to come online in the US. Thought they said 11/17.

So glad I got my 2021 even though I ordered a 2022. There is nothing really that is different.

My understanding as well about 11/17 and availability of the bespoke configurator. Been searching throughout the day on .com and .ca and no luck. Hmmm 🤔

Just as I guessed and stated above "This seems to be really nothing new at all with the exception of some slightly different options available and color choices. "

I am still just baffled at the $3k Bespoke Option to simply pick your build options......
