$2k installed is what I was told when I had mine replaced. (I believe the basic [without the molding parts etc.] windshield is $1,600.....)

Front windshields are usually covered by your auto insurance.....so what warranty are you worried about expiring?

 

I want to use the warranty before any insurance if I can. Thanks.

In what country does the Lexus New Vehicle warranty cover a broken windshield…???

 

If the crack not cause by rock chip, it is cover by warranty. There are a lot of Scion Xb got crack windshield without cause by rock chips and got replace under warranty. Scion is Toyota, so Lexus does the same I guess.

 

I’ve owned quite a few new Lexus vehicles and have never once heard this.

Would love to hear anyone else’s experiences with this!

 

Surprise surprise.... Windshield delayed yet again.... Dealer is calling Lexus corporate and Lexus Parts Depot to find out wtf. Going to hit 4 month mark waiting for a simple windshield....
