Sounds fun...but I have zero desire to take my LC convertible on a track.
I did that once with my convertible F355 about 12 years ago.....
Is there a cost?
No cost plus they hand out some goodies, T-shirts and feed you.
And, at the risk of raising people's ire, I get the not taking LC convertibles to the track. The'typical' LC convertible owner demographic is usually more of a 'look at my style' rather than a 'look at how fast I am'.
that was a performance day type thing in norcal; i was gonna go, but covided out ...
Yeah - I did the Lexus Performance Driving School at Laguna Seca in January 2019. About a grand for that one but you use their cars. This one is a free semi-track day put on by the Lexus mothership and you get to run what you brung.

No ire here, but pot meet kettle on judging you wrote Shermang's thread "I think your statement 'that money isn't really a problem' for us LC owners is a bit out of line but I assume no offense was meant. "
some, or even most convertible owners may like to 'be seen' but they may also just love the top down driving experience. I know when i had a vert i couldn't care less about being seen, but i loved the top down driving experience at that time, it felt like giving me a lot of the motorcycle open air experience without all the risk and gear associated with one.
Back to the event though, sounds awesome, and wish there was another one closer to me. The perf driving school though is of interest and they have one of those in atlanta in feb.
i was just there at laguna in oct for the inaugural 'masterclass' weekend with townsend bell. masterclass is new and the class you take for next level instruction after the base class. such a great school. we were allocated track and fuji edition rcf's all day. my fuji for the day was 04 and only had 662 miles!
