How to remove this chrome trim piece?

Default How to remove this chrome trim piece?

Has anybody tried to remove this chrome piece around exhaust (is it just with clips or I need to unscrew something)? I am trying to take it off and get it painted. Your feedback is much appreciated.

Body shop did mine. So I don't know how to remove it. But they did a great job. I'm located in San Diego if you want a referral.

Paint and/or chrome delete with wrap are the options.

how about plastidip or equivalent..no need to remove piece...tape off and spray.

I bought Hyper Dip and mine came out really good. Took forever to tape off all of the non chrome sections and had to do about 7-8 layers of spray with some drying time in between. I have no experience with this stuff but it seems like it will hold up for a very long time and is much better than Plastidip. Looks like black satin paint once it dried
