FWIW, when I bought my LC in May, they offered to L-certify it for $2200.

With inflation about to hit hard, and the auto market what it is, I wouldn't expect these cars to depreciate. much in the next few years.

When I custom ordered both of my IS350's which were also made in Japan, they took 4 months to deliver so a quote of 5 is typical.

Yes, verts are outselling coupes but there is/was pent-up demand and from what I can tell, that's mostly all Lexus was shipping to dealers - that's really all there was to buy when I was shopping in May. We'll have to see how that ratio changes in future years.

Stopped by the dealer yesterday and they have the sheets for the bespoke build that will go live on Wednesday 17 November. You start with the base vehicle (coupe in my case) and build from there. In Canada there will be a set up charge of around $3,300 for choosing the bespoke edition. You then get to pick color (interior/exterior), roof (carbon fibre or glass), seat material, rear spoiler (fixed carbon fibre like the inspiration series, the mechanical one or none and what wheels you want. There was also an option to black out some of the chrome parts called Black Garnish that was around $700. Will be interesting to see what shows up on the website on Wednesday. My plan is to place my order later this coming week and from what I am told probably won't see the car until April of next year.

Checking boxes on the Options List isn’t the same as a charge it simply build a car to your specs.

i'm missing something ...if they build a car to your specs, it costs more because you are getting more value (your specs); the bespoke edition costs 3k more
because you get more value with that edition.... no ?

I am looking at ordering white coupe with caramel interior, carbon fibre roof, semi-aniline seats and the black Inspiration Series wheels along with the Black Garnish option that apparently blacks out some of the chrome (not much information on that yet).

It seems that "Bespoke" is primarily a selling point($$$). Most other cars can be special ordered with the only cost being the time waiting for the car to be built. I had been looking at an SUV for my wife(I would get to drive it when it needed gas, or washing). I had a chance to order Lincoln, Cadillac, GMC. Ended up listing for an RX450h, due in S.W.Fla. in Dec. That was where I saw my first LC500 convertible. Now I am looking to buy a 500 for me. Of course it will be 'her' car when she wants to drive it.

Anyone has any luck on getting an order in for the 2022 Bespoke?
I sent in my build to the local dealership and they have no info whatsoever on the build and when they can actually place the order.

My sales guy reached out to me yesterday and let me know I could come in and do an order for bespoke... However there's not much reason to do so unless you want manhattanhenge and or some of the very small detail options.

In fact you can't even pair any color exterior with any color interior

It’s a little disappointing but it’s good enough for me. I just want the black chrome/headlights and the black wheels.
However, there’s no literature that the Bespoke comes with the rear wheel steer or heated steering wheel. I saw HUD and ML as an option to ask your dealer so that got me thinking about stuff like the RWS and HS and even illuminated door sill. My dealership has no info on it this morning.
I also don’t know why Lexus don’t offer Ultrasonic Blue on the LC500 while this color is on ES, IS, and NX, and former GS. I like blue cars, but the nightfall mica is too dark and only get a little blue hue when the sun is hitting it.

Illuminated door sill is available even on non bespoke, same with the rear steering and variable gear-ratio. (In the dynamic handling package) The bespoke build options are "mostly" cosmetic stuff.

Ultimately a bespoke build should be done in the dealership.

Well, I want the autographs.
honestly, if it wasn’t for that stupid wing spoiler they tacked on the 2021 inspiration series, I would look at that. But I can’t handle that wing.
