Given the choice of driving my car or flying on a plane in this environment, I would also choose to drive my car. I've got 5 vehicles, so I've got choices. But in lieu of what Rapture said, he prefers to get the most enjoyment out of the time he's got left because most of us are now looking at the short end of things; what better or more stimulating pleasure can one get than driving your LC. You definitely can not take it with you. So if you don't drive it somebody else sho will!
That would be a ton of driving. I’ve never actually put that many miles on just one car. At most I put 10k on my LS back when I drove it across town every day.

You’re absolutely right. I’d struggle not to drive the LC everywhere if I had one. I used to feel that way about my SC300 back in the day and look for a reason to go drive around.
If my daughter didn’t need a giant car seat I’d go back to daily driving a fun coupe.

Although driving 59k in one year is a lot I struggle even more with people who put like 2-6k miles a year on these types of cars. Spend over 100k for a car and let it sit in the garage collecting dust. These ponies are made to run. Let them out of the stable more often

My LC is definitely not an everyday car. As a matter of fact, none of my cars are. I typically average about 10-12k miles per year. But that is spread out between 5 vehicles. The problem is not that I don’t drive enough, but rather that I have too many cars. As crazy as it may seem, I look at my LC as an investment. It is my hope that if the car is well maintained and the miles are low that there mite be a chance of some future appreciation in value……. . So I will take my own advice and let her out more often, cause if I don't, the next man will.

I hear you. I work from home and live in Arizona. But my house is about 45 miles from downtown Phx. So I rarely have to drive unless I am going out on the town. My baby just 1 years old Jan 27th and has 12k on it. That included a 700 mile drive back to Utah (when I bought it in AZ and drove back) and another 700 from Utah to AZ to move. I have always tried to keep my mileage low as possible. More so to keep factory warranty miles close to warranty years. Seems like I always keep them low and then trade it in and it doesn't matter anyway lol.

Believe me. there are days I wished I lived in the warmer climates so I could be behind the wheel more often! Chompin at the bit about now!
