I thought it was just their fancy name for the parking sensors.

As 355F1 states, Intuitive Parking Assist is the Lexus name for the front and rear sensors and the bar/beeping display as you near an object.

The Parking Sensors along with the BSM/RCTA (hidden) sensors now also provide auto braking
at speeds under five (5) MPH.

haha, after glancing at the 5 or 6 PAGES on this in the manual i thought intuitive parking assist had to be some kind of self parking feature.
but nooo, it's just parking sensors.
marketing names for the lose...

thanks all. carry on.

try out Menu: Info: Weather: Weather Maps ...for a display of the doppler radar for your area.
also, notice how your seat is canted ever so slightly toward the shifter and the center of the car (ala Lambo but not as severe)
and the center of gravity ... way cool design

Two things my father taught me that I hold dear:
1) Five minutes early is on time and, 2) When in doubt, read the instructions (manual).

good advice i always say i owe my career in IT/software because i'm one of the few who reads manuals, however, manuals these days are so poor and my attention span has become worse that i can't make it through many, and certainly car manuals are about the worst reading material i can think of.

I need to read the manual to figure out why the heated seat, steering wheel, and neck scarf stay on even when I turn the Climate Concierge OFF. Annoying....but I bet I am missing something by not checking out the manual.

Maybe i will go look right now.......LoL

I did one of those Lexus advisory board surveys a week or so ago and they asked about this. They called it automated parking if I remember correctly. Basically the car would park itself. Wanted to know if I'd want the feature and I said sure.

consider this, if i'm already parked and some, uh, person, parks way too close to my car so i or a passenger would have a hard time getting in without dinging the door, then sure, i'll use the feature to back the car out!
would be even more useful on the LC with it's giant long coupe doors.

First time I saw something like this in person I was leaving the gym and a buddy was outside and I asked him what he was doing and he said summoning his car(with his phone). I was like, what? Sure enough here came his BMW driving all by itself. If nothing else, like you say, a great party trick.

Default How do you turn on/off the automatic parking assist camera?

I have a 2024 infrared coupe that I love. However, the parking assist camera suddenly began turning on automatically at very low speeds (ie parking, coming to a stop at a traffic light) At first, I found this automatic feature to be annoying, but I got used to it and it made parking in my tight garage space a no brainer. Recently, the camera has stopped automatically turning on at slow speeds and I have been using the associated button on the center console. I am not sure why this setting changed and I can’t figure out how to turn it back on. Not sure if I am just missing it in the manual or in the car settings, so I am stumped.
