There is a setting on the screen when you push the camera button and the camera is active. Check the left hand side once in D or N, you are looking for button G as labeled in this image (the A there is for "automatic" so toggle this to be active and not stricken through).

Ha, this got me at first also. Keep in mind that depending on what screen/view you are on, different options (available soft buttons) appear or disappear.

I have this feature enabled and I really like it. It helps greatly with parking in tight spaces, and seeing if the person behind me is getting too close to the rear of my car.
