Back on the Lexus Advisory Board
When I had my 06 IS 350 I was invited to participate in the Lexus Advisory Board (kicked off sometime after selling my car).
In the past they previewed some product (ex. Coupes) and got into preferences.
I can't say they were big listeners because I kept harping on the point that the rear seat room in a coupe shouldn't suck.
Anyway, I am signed up and once they get me going on their surveys, I will share some intel.
For the sign up they got into areas like, do Hybrid owners put more emphasis on environmental issues.

After I gave up my allocation and got my deposit back, I watched pricing for years.
The best deal I saw was a dealership in MD who advertised a new one for about $100k under sticker x years ago.
I kept the coin allocated to the LFA in the market and rode the wave up.
When the Gen 2 NSX was announced I felt it was going to be fun and not offensive to key family. I have had it for 4 1/2 years and it has been great.
I was still jonesing for an open top car. I had liked the LC 500 but the coupe didn't get me the open top experience.
When the convertible was released, I went for that. Not in any way the wild animal the LFA is, but a great car for top down field trips with my wife.
I still keep looking at the LFA market. The current issue is that for LFA money, you could be driving an SF90. I would also want to do a private sale because IL only charges a pitance for sales tax for used vehicles (and very few LFAs come up for sale vis the private sale route). Still fun to keep an eye at it.
I also have garage limitations. I rented a 2 car garage to keep the NSX and LC 500 convertible in, but its a 20 minute walk to access the cars.
I am thinking electric for the next car. I like the Model S plaid performance but I don't like the size (too big for the city) and the pleather interior. I will likely check out a Lucid with they become available. Also too big but the interior is rockin and they offer a similarly irresponsible power level to a Model S plaid.

New LAB survey
Most of it focused on digital key stuff
Get into the car if you lose your fob, give someone else access, find your lost car for you kind of features
I always look forward to the question at the end
Today it was do you use an RV at all
So my take away is we could see a Lexus RV coming
Makes sense to me, since the pandemic, more folks have wanted self containment
I think the Sprinter van sized RVs with a full bathroom would be great for seeing America
Add Lexus, features, comfort and reliability, nice
