Fuse Panel
Something ate through my driver's door wire harness between the door the car body. I replaced it but my blind side monitor and HUD don't work. I think the fuses are blown. Where can I find them? Need the BSM and HUD Display. Odd both are out at the same time.
There is a fuse panel under the hood. It has a plastic cover on it, not sure if it has the fuses you're looking for. That's where I used to hook up
my battery tender. It has four places on the bottom you have to push in to get the cover off.

As I mentioned to the thread starter on the LC facebook group, those two features are connected through two fuses each from separate boxes. Each one of those fuses also control a dozen or so other features, so his problem is definitely not related to a blown fuse. I have the complete wiring and fuse diagrams for the whole car.
I found out the hard way today that the HUD, blind spot monitor, auto rear-mirror dimmer and an element of the windshield wiper system all work off a single 10 amp fuse, which the dealer replaced. I failed to ask the tech, however, where this particular fuse was located. There are at least two and maybe three fuse boxes in the LC 'vert. Before I locate and crank open the lids of all of them, does anyone have access to charts that describe the location and purpose of all the fuses? (For anyone familiar with these things, the tech's notes say he replaced a "blown IG1 D nol 10a fuse." I'd like to know where this is, in case it blows again.)

Referring to the second picture in this thread then if you look at the fuse lid you will see at the left end "IGN P 03 and 04" both of which are 10 amp. This fuse box is located above a foot well cover and is accessed by pushing back 5 retained clips that hold the cover in situ. The whole cover then drops down and can be completely removed by simply detaching the footwell light. Takes all of 30 seconds to remove, and once done you'll see and have ready access to the fuse box.
Point to note, for me in the UK, the footwell that needs accessing is on the passenger side which may well be the driver's side for you or of course vice versa.
I'm not saying these are the culprits, but a five minute check will confirm or deny.
EDIT
Just noticed the exact fuse your tech described is about halfway down the fuse bank. Apologies I did not spot this earlier, but hopefully you can now check accordingly.

Update: I managed, through the good graces of the service advisor, to communicate this afternoon with the service tech. He said that particular fuse came out of the fuse box to the left of the steering wheel under the dash. Could be useful info for anyone else who throws the same error messages - HUD, wipers, blind side monitor (along with inoperative rear-view mirror dimmer and auto-retracting side view mirrors).

In my case, it was me. User error. My hard-wired mirror tap for the radar detector turned out to be less hard-wired than I thought. In trying to re-connect it on the fly, I apparently shorted out the circuit. Could have been a lot worse. Could have blown an ECU. Lesson learned. Can’t do these things on the fly and without great care.

Many thanks. I see it there now.

Fuses that blow without any obvious reason can be more onerous and especially ones that blow repeatedly. Despite all I read about cars electronics and their foibles blown fuses seem to be a surprisingly rare event.
