From what I have read in Reddit and some other forums, it appears to work on other vehicles - albeit takes a bit of time to load (around 15s once you start the car).
According to their website 2019/20 Lexus are supposed to work, but it did not mention anything about the 2018 LC 500. I sent a message to the company and waiting for a response.

 

I like it. So which one of us is gonna be the guinea-pig?

Site says Lexus '19-20 so it should

 

I wonder if it works for Android Auto on the 2018 LC's. It seems like it should work for AA via connected cable or through mirroring:

Wonder if they omitted to include 2018's simply because it was a retrofit...

 

I just ordered it and did Express shipping. Will review towards the end of next week. If it doesn't work on our cars it will work on my other.

I ordered the carplay2 for iPhone 6 and up over the weekend. It showed up at my office Wednesday. I followed the instructions took about 2 minutes and it was up and running. Its has worked flawlessly on my 2018LC. There are a few reasons I needed this to work with my wireless charger from ProClip vs. keeping it out away.

Oh and probably could have had it up and running in less than two minutes if I would have plugged it into the bottom USB port first as it didn't connect on the top one.

 

I wanted to run it through my daily activities before posting. I couldn't be happier with the results.

 

That is great news! Guess I will order one of them today. I picked up a wireless charger that is stored in my front cup holder, so I figured it would be nice to have that along with my wireless carplay solution Ill take pics of my setup once I get everything.

 

BTW, can you comment on how long the startup takes after you start the car?
