I didn't/wouldn't buy a Ford GT since It cannot accommodate a weekend for two trip. I had two oversized suitcases that I carried over to my dealer before purchase. One large suitcase easily fit in the LC back seat area. Plus room for odds and ends. Same with the trunk.

Its still good to know its possible to hold that much with trunk and backseats combined.

And to think the crap the LC gets in reviews for it's trunk size. None of them actually thought to put anything inside until this guy came along.

Sep 1, 2010 - On October 12, 1940, cowboy-movie star Tom Mix is killed when he loses control of his speeding Cord Phaeton convertible and rolls into a dry wash (now called the Tom Mix Wash) near Florence, Arizona.

^^^^That's why led up to the crash. Not what killed him.

It's probably just you as I think most do/would. I always use the seatbelts to secure whatever I put there.

Just use common sense when carrying any load in your vehicle. Safety is Job One!
