CF roof issue
the Carbon fiber roof has a laminated covering on it ... to me it's very similar to the windshield...
of course it goes without saying that the roof is therefore prone to rock chip damage exactly like the windshield.
The other day, while Sammy Hagar cruising it at 55, I heard a loud bang near the pass side roof line/upper windshield -- expecting a humongous windshield crack.. it turns out to be on the roof instead, a tiny little 1/4 inch round star/crater through the laminate cover. Looks just like the typical windshield ding. Carbon fiber material underneath seems fine itself.
I'm tempted to try an OTC windshield repair kit but am hesitant since I'm not sure what the roof material really is. Any experience on this...?

Maybe the dealer may have some pointers on how to correct this or if it needs anything done to correct.
This is a bit unusual.
Hopefully the good 'ol fix will apply: Leave it and Forget it.
Epoxies are very hard but definitely different material characteristics as compared to glass.
