Would it be possible for a lexus dealership to install the active spoiler on an LC500 that was not equipped with it from the factory?

 

Anything is possible, but knowing Lexus costs it will probably be cheeper to buy a new car

 

Would probably be cost prohibitive...

 

Just to give you an example, and maybe use this example as a point of reference - if you were to purchase the part for the carbon fibre door scuff plate (that come with the Performance Package), it would run you $4,500 EACH! Yes, you read that correctly - $4,500 for EACH of the CF door sills, directly quoted from the Lexus Dealer parts department. That's a total of $9,000 for both if you're looking to install those after purchasing your car. The performance pack, if I remember well, was $5,700, which included:

1. ACTIVE REAR STEERING
2. SPEED-ACTIVATED REAR WING
3. VARIABLE GEAR-RATIO STEERING
4. CARBON FIBER DOOR SCUFF PLATE
5. EIGHT-WAY POWER FRONT SPORT SEATS WITH ALCANTARA®* INSERTS
6. CARBON FIBER ROOF
7. ALCANTARA®* HEADLINER
