I'm looking at a used (off lease) 2018 LC stripper. It is Nightfall Mica and has only one option, an LSD. That really is my only requirement. It also has the carbon fiber spoiler. It's got 10.5K miles and is certified. The dealer has a set a price of $74.9K.
I guess a should also say, I am driving a much modified 2008 ISF that I've had for close to 11 years. Car has 50K miles, and still runs Great and Strong, and still looks good.

If its in budget and in your choice of options I`d try to score a leftover unit from 18, new. The lowest I have seen, without being used as demo, was $84k. If they go down further and/or you are set on this model specifically, then congrats on the new purchase.

I decided against this one. I would have to spend too much money to get it the way I wanted. I'll keep looking. I would like a dark one, either Autumn Shimmer of Nightfall Mica.

Yeah, without knowing what options the new car has, we don't know the MSRP.
If we don't know the MSRP, then we don't know if it is a good deal or not...
But that is just the way I look at it and it is not the only way....
When I buy a car new from the dealer I look at how much I can get discounted from the MSRP and into the invoice cost.
Past the invoice cost then a better understanding of how much the dealer is making is more difficult to learn.
I will take my hat off to anyone that gets more than 20% off MSRP on a Lexus purchase.

They are still not selling.

I would push for at least $20K off.

I look for 20% off of MSRP or to get the car at invoice.
The dealer is still making money on the sale.
Certain car makes like Chevrolet or Ford as an example will very easily let you do that.
There is more room beyond this price point but you need to do more research because you don't want to low ball the offer.
Low balling will portray you as uninformed and will lower your credibility as a buyer.
To me it takes much more time (and aggravation) in the negotiation to get beyond the invoice cost so I don't try to go beyond that point.
This is just my 5 cents on how I approach this but I am sure others have other better ideas...

What is your source of invoice price? I check with KBB and find that for a 100K MSRP LC 500, the invoice price is 90K, which is 10%, not 20%.
The sales number is bad, but 20% off still seems too good to be true. I would put my deposit down if that is the market price.
