Thanks for the reply. Since the same think happened to me, this has to be a defect. My concern is when we have to change the battery out of warranty, how will Lexus handle the issue.

 

I have actually disconnected the battery several times since the initial issue and the problem has yet to reoccur.

 

I had the same issue for my 2020 es350 after my battery died for no reason. I accidentally fixed it by switching to N gear, rotate the steering wheel for a full left turn and full right turn. Then I did the same thing again while in D gear and holding the brake. Not sure which one did the trick but the yellow line reappeared afterward.
