Looks like we may have some interesting performance parts coming from Boost Logic who is well known in the world of forced induction performance parts. This seem to be a baseline dyno they did with their very own LC500
I'll be honest, I get pretty excited when I see a company know for high, high horsepower cars get interested in a Lexus platform! I guess only time will tell what kind of goodies come out of this!

^^ Agreed. People need to seriously adjust their expectations. You want a big engine (along with crap quality) buy a Hellcat or a Vette. The LC certainly has more than adequate power. You're paying for Lexus superior quality and build. You want both big power and superior quality, you're going to have to open up your pocket book. That's just reality.
There's a nice LFA Nurburgring edition for sale at my dealer. Should meet your expectations..
Personally I feel there should be more power. Sorry you disagree. As far as Lexus superior quality and build, lets see what happens. Every single Lexus that has come out lately has had some growing pains to include the fuel pump issues with the RCF, the build quality issues with the LS, and others I'm sure I'm forgetting. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they aren't great cars, and extremely reliable, but to ask for more power isn't unrealistic.
I love the styling but am also looking at the corvette z06 and comparatively the numbers are terrible
The LC and ZO6 are not even in the same league.
The ZO6 is full on performance based whereas the LC has the nicest ride and build quality out of any coupe I've ever been in. It rides as nice as a Lexus LS or similar luxury car.
What's the price difference between a LC 500 and a base 911? I'm thinking they are pretty similar in price. Does the LC 500 have superior build quality? I'm looking forward to sitting in a LC 500 soon. I did look at a Z06. I was surprised that the interior was better than I though it would be.

Have you ever driven a 911? I've been in several, with the most recent a 2015 Turbo and a 2016 Turbo S...
The Porsche rides pretty harsh. Very mechanical feel. You feel very connected to the road and hear every single pebble in the road and every ounce of noise of the drivetrain. That's the Porsche experience. They build those cars for the driver to be and feel extremely connected to the road and the vehicle itself. The Lexus drives like an extremely high end luxury car. Completely different feel.

You need to drive both and decide what you need.
That's good to know. I need to drive the 911 and a Panamera. I'm new to the Porsche scene. My Macan has a very good ride, not rough at all, but still communicates good road feel. Our LX rides like a dream as should be expected. My RC F and NX were fairly rough. I drive my 72 year old father around quite a bit, so a nice ride and easy to get in and out of is pretty important. Since the LC 500 and Panamera are a new design...I figure it can't hurt to give them a bit to see if there are any issues. And of course see what the new LS is like.
