Still looking for a new coupe
Because he doesn't have the money or the credit score to make the real profit here. Four ~$1000 deposits to make $7500-10K in "finders fees" is a lot safer than going into some short-term debt to flip each one for $15-20K over like we're seeing some of the dealers do.
Toyota really dropped the ball with the final year of the LC500, in every other instance -- GS-F, RC-F, IS500 -- they announced early and planned a "Final Edition" and gave all the flippers a whole year to pretend that this was always their dream car and can we please help them find one for MSRP.

I mean the process was messy, almost as if they didn't intend to cancel the LC500 this year. Nevermind the fact that every Inspiration Edition since the '21 convertible has been a grayscale color. They can pearl or matte these colors all they want, they're still boring.
Finally, hit the 621-mile mark on my new IS 500. It is great, however not as great as a new LC. Someone posted on Facebook site today about backing out of a new cloudburst and wanted 2500 finder's fee that they are supposedly selling at MSRP. sounded scammy to me. I did email all the supposed available new coupes on Autotrader. Can't shake it!! Any info on what's available?
Nori Green with DHP inbound next week!
