Might I suggest pulling the muffler control fuse first? Or, for $13, installing a switched fuse?

 

After viewing these fenders, I am considering starting a go-fund-me for a set for your friend to occupy themselves while awaiting an included all-expense paid vacation to a famous resort in NYC.

 

They offered me the Catback exhaust system (additional) on our GX550 but I declined. Seemed some of the discussions expressed concerns with droning and such. Felt if I wanted to hear some good exhaust sounds I’ll take the LC out instead.

I was surprised to come across a Lexus video for that last month. Has Lexus ever offered an upgraded exhaust as an option on anything else.

 

They have back in the GS 400 days and original F Sport days and the current IS 350 had an OEM exhaust accessory option as well.

They prolly have a US distributor that will jack you an arm and leg though.

 

Ya last quote I got was like $3k for the set, and they still would need paint and clear. Also I think there is probably a 6-12 month lead time on them. All discouraging signs, would rather buy used if anyone is selling a set!
