2024, stock as well and lights in Auto mode all the time. Around where I live, I frequently travel on a 2 lane road for 20+ miles in the night and never got a flash. The headlights resort to low beam quickly but still not fast enough to my liking. I believe the sensors take a bit of processing time (under a second may be). Many times I have observed that light goes to low beam even when the car in opposite lane is very far off or still coming through the bend (and not fully visible except the headlight).
I think OP meant the LC lights are either too bright or aim too high that he gets signal from other drivers that his high beams are on.
I’ve experienced this on my RX. I don’t drive my LC at night.
I’ve also heard from other people that they hate Lexus headlights that seem to be blinding to them.
With more and more cars using bright LEDs, this has become a norm.
My first experience with auto headlights was back in 1952 (I was too young to drive). My Dad had a 1952 Oldmobile Supper 88 with the "Autronic Eye". My dad loved it, but it would sometimes blind some oncoming traffic, and it would dim for street lights. I didn't like it then, and I don't like it now. I prefer to handle bright vs. dim manually. However, one thing I did like better in the "old" days (1977 and earlier) when the bright/dim function was a button on the floor handled by your left foot👍🏻

Realized after I posted the reply. I will ask my friends to check when I drive next time.
Nowadays I kinda feel that the headlights are too bright even at low beam with LED bulbs. Don't want to name the car models but I always felt those specific cars were on high beam due to how much light they shine on to blind the driver on opposite lane.

That floor mounted high beam switch was click-click on, click-click off. As a young child, I remember sitting in the back seat of my father’s car at night. He would click-click the high beams for even the tiniest hill, just to let everyone know he was coming, then click-click them off again.
The blinker stalk on the LC sounds cheap and loud to me. No more clicking please!
Thanks for the responses. What's even more irritating is I'm getting flashed by lifted Tacos and other vehicles much higher than me. I guess next oil change I will lower by 2 degrees or so. Here in Hawaii we have the most self-righteous drivers on the planet.
