Perfectly understandable. Lexus has stated how much effort they put into achieving substantial chassis rigidity in the LC 500(Exceeds the LFA). As a result it as you noted handles quite well despite its heavy weight and luxury GT oriented emphasis. Despite their success they have continued incremental improvements (2025 additional braces and 2026 stronger door strikers) gaining further chassis rigidity.

I can see how the Toms complete brace kit would improve what’s already a very high level of LC 500 overall rigidity. Essentially upgrading a known strength rather than fixing a design weakness.
Yeah, technically there's no reason to upgrade these cars since they perform as intended for a GT, and especially not under warranty on a newer vehicle that has benefited from years of kaizen. The earlier models, however, are prime opportunities for customization - while I wouldn't necessarily do coilovers or aftermarket exhausts myself, I can't blame anybody for wanting to make their car unique (within reason....).

That isn't to say there's a night and day difference between the newer and older models - there really isn't. Would newer models benefit from this bracing? Probably. Do they need it to the same degree as early models? Probably not.

LOL - you are likely the best candidate for it 🤣 I would assume that yes, it should help with your cornering at track speeds given the improvement I've noticed on the street, but I say that having not tracked my car.

Can you keep all of the underbody panels on or do you have to remove them and keep them off for the braces?

All the underbody panels can be placed back on the car after the bracing is installed

I am really enthusiastic reading the reports of improved driving "ridding the rails" experience with the aftermarket mods. Awesome step-up for anyone seeking the next performance upgrade. That being said, I wouldn't exchange my 2025 chassis and the complete satisfaction I have for another iteration.

Edit: All depends on driver perspective.

This makes sense. Your 2025 has the lastest front and rear under floor braces installed. The benefit of the Toms brace kit would very likely be less impactful compared with earlier LC 500 models.

Or perhaps it would become an even greater machine 😁 luckily, mods are not required, so if you're happy with your car then save yourself the cost.

This came up in my search for new LC videos today. Not sure how useful it is, but it’s another option. The site shows multiple Lexus models, though the LC isn’t listed, which makes me think it may be new.

Nice write up and pics. I’ve been running Tom’s Racing braces on my vehicles for 20 years or so including both my LCs. They really stiffen things up. Highly recommended.

It's a must have in my opinion if you have the performance package - it gets the most out of the 4 wheel steering. I think Blackhawk Japan was the cheapest place to get the kit, even with tarriffs, at my time of purchase
