Convertible or Coupe
With that said, if you didn't spec an unusual combination -- what's your exterior and interior color, and wheels? -- then it's entirely possible that they saw one in the allocation list and traded for it. Bespoke builds are typically built at the factory in September and February, then delivered over the following months. When did you order / reserve the car and when did you receive it?
I have always loved convertibles. 53 years ago...Dec 16 1972...my very first date with my wife...I picked her up in my 1969 Pontiac LeMans convertible. It was winter in NJ, it was snowing lightly, we put the top down, windows up, heat on full and went driving! Memorable fun time... One of our favorite things is an evening top down cruise...ending up at Dairy Queen. Lol. We Iove our LC 500 convertible and plan on keeping it forever. She prefers the open air car over wearing a helmet on the Harley.
When you drive a coupe....you see the scenery. When you drive a convertible, you are IN the scenery!

I agree! Here in central NC, I drive my '23 with the top down 90% of the time, regardless of the temperature (but never in the rain
). Maybe it's a flash back to the early days of covered wagons, but somehow driving in an open top convertible (I've owned 5 over the years), always makes me smile.

Although I love the convertible I would only consider a coupe because it would be a car that I would keep for a very long time. If I were just going to keep it for 3-5 years then the convertible is what makes sense for most.
