Default Clunk sound/feel while in reverse and turning

Clunk when reversing at almost full steering lock. I checked and there’s nothing rubbing but I do have 25mm spacers on. When I’m rolling backwards and turning, it sometimes feels like I went over a rock or something and the tire slipped but that’s not what’s happening. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thank you.

Might be the rear brake pads breaking loose.

I get the same clunk after I wash the car, put it in the garage and back it out in the morning while turning.

Does it only once.

It isn't your spacers. I have a completely unadulterated 2024 vert, and when I back down my driveway and turn the wheel almost all the way, I get a clunk from the front tire area and a tiny jolt, almost like the tire skidded for a split second and then caught. When I got the car with 8 miles on it, if freaked me out the first time it did it. My garage and driveway are on a hill also, so backing down hill with steering cranked way over = clunk every time since brand new.

I get that constantly. Apparently, it from our cars having such large rims/tires. They kind of get caught up for a second on the concrete and do a quick jolt. It happens almost every time I'm backing out of a parking spot while turning the wheel. Drives me nuts.

Thank you for the responses and information. It's very helpful to know it's fairly common. I was hoping it was a tire issue to so speak and it sounds like that's the case. I really appreciate that.

I get it as well with my 2024 in tight/full lock circumstances, it just jumps/skips for a second & off it goes

Same here, and it also happened with my ISF. Normal, don't worry about it

Thank you. I also wonder if it has something to do with the cold weather here and the summer tires. It seems to me that the colder it gets the more it does it. I also noticed it when it has rained as well. So, I'm thinking it's connected.
