Default 2024 brake pad replacement/ upgrade

Any '24 owners replaced/ upgraded their pads? OEM emits way too much dust. Tire Rack states they have a Z32 that is compatible with my car, but when I go to the PowerStop website, They claim they have no application for the '24 LC.

Have you reached out to Carbotech? They make some excellent low dust street pads, might have one that fits the LC.

Biggest problem with low production volume cars is aftermarket support.

Any year pads will fit the 2024 LC. Nothing has changed in the pad design or caliper design.

I have carbotech pads but their race pads, they do make a street compound also.

I defer to those more knowledgeable, but online searches have pointed me to the following:

Those mention carbon ceramic. Does that mean the pad material itself is carbon ceramic or that they are formulated for use with carbon ceramic ROTORS? Because if it is the latter I would be concerned about using them with normal rotors.

Pad material composition. Totally fine to use with cast iron or steel rotors and will be very low dust/noise.

Bro,
You and Chris (@tecman) are consistently on point with LC 500 information. I know that I’m not the only here who is appreciative.👍

I understand that. If you need a lower dusting pad you can switch to Akebono pads with no worry on warranty. Lexus uses Akebono as OE manufacturer for many models, including some year LCs with the low-dust pads.

Replaced mine with Project Mu NS-C ‘25 Coupe, no issues with fitment. Only difference besides the low brake dust is a decrease in the initial bite, it’s a more linear brake feel.

I also swapped to the NS-C pads 2 years ago and they've been flawless for street driving.
