Default 1 Year in the books!

Well today is my one-year anniversary with my LC. I have loved every single day of ownership of this vehicle across all 15,087 miles. In that year I've done 3 oil changes and chewed through one set of tires, not at all aided by a poor alignment after lowering the vehicle.

Thoughts:
  • One year later I still get a thumbs up or an ask for a rev every single time I'm out on the road
  • One year later I still see less than one LC per month on the road
  • One year later I still feel like the car carries a road presence unmatched by anything that isn't exotic
  • One year later I still feel incredibly blessed to have this parked in my garage as I look forward to my 39th birthday next month
  • One year later I still want to mod it more

You've done an amazing job with all the mods -- love the new wheels Happy face

Everything is on point, from the orange decal trims, to the blue lettering on the orange calipers, the blue on the hub caps, and lucky you for living in a state that has a pop of orange on license plates. I love looking at your LC from afar...

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your continued enjoyment of owning one of these undeniably special flagship vehicles Cool

Congrats.
I’m 15 months in and still love at first sight feeling. I don’t drive it nearly as much as you do though.

What did you do with your stock wheels, do you still have them?

Thanks!! It has all come together quite nicely to this point. Some things didn't work and they've been cycled through but I'm very happy with how it sits today

I just put them up for sale, I still have them for the time being. I don't really know how to price them since this wheel is not really available outside of bespoke builds unless you are willing to spend $15k from Lexus directly, and they have basically brand new tires on them. Not sure what a realistic price is here but I've gone for what made sense to me for now lol https://www.clublexus.com/forums/mar...5#post11949283

@Np04412
Congratulations on your happy 1 year anniversary! It’s great to see a younger man who genuinely recognizes and appreciates an excellent automobile and can afford to acquire it. Given what Lexus charges for those Bespoke wheels (Wow!) your asking price for wheels and tires seems a terrific deal to me. Good luck with the sale.

Congrats on 1 year! I’ve had mine for a similar time and have just shy of 7k miles. Puts a smile on my face every time I drive and look at it. Very rare for me to see an LC - think I’ve seen 2-3 others in the last year.

@BlueIS05
It seems that most Infared LC 500 have the toasted caramel interior. I have not seen the black interior in person. How do you like it?

Marvelous! I'm only 2 months and 1200+ miles and have the joy. Feel lucky to still be absorbing the design and performance and sanctuary as-is while enjoying your reach! Thanks . It's beautiful.

I like the black interior, though sometimes wish there were pops of color like the red/black interior offered with other exterior colors. Or perhaps red piping on the leather. Minor quibble with a car that is otherwise perfect for me!

@np20412 - Hearty congratulations on both your LC anniversary and upcoming 39th birthday! I've had my LC convertible nearly 3 years now and echo your observations and upbeat comments regarding your coupe. Thanks for doing such a great job of representing the car we all love so much!

Agreed, it's hard to price these. The Lexus OEM price per wheel is clearly crazy, but you just never see them up for sale. A big reason why I did a bespoke build in '24 is because I wanted these wheels, there's pretty much no way to get them without doing that (or buying an Inspiration Edition with them on already).

$5K isn't unreasonable, especially with the TPMS and new tires. If I still had my '21 with the stock chrome, I'd pay $5K for yours. Good luck!
