Default LC500 Seat defect

Hello,
I recently purchased a 2021 CPO car. I purchased sight unseen from Sewell Fort Worth. I was curious if anyone else has these seat imprints on their drivers cushion. They are not willing to repair. I have gotten quite the runaround about it.

Default Replaced under warranty

I had same issue and had mine replaced under warranty. Pretty sure it happens when the seat gets wet (or at least that's what I suspect, plus I have a convertible and rain happens).

I have been shopping (hard) for a convertible and found these photos from a Lexus dealer in California. So it's either "normal" or "as designed" or this certified car did not get "fixed".

It's clearly a design flaw. And it will happen to all of them....but there is no remedy for it and it will just add to the character of used LCs.

It's a feature, not a flaw!

All the pics above are convertibles, not a coupe in the bunch, I have a coupe with the leather seats

interesting, my sport seats with the alcantara trim do not have these at all after 45000km or about 30000miles. i guess its another reason to take those over the full leather versions (when you have a choice, at least)

all in all not a major problem or we'd a heard more about it
one obvious unknown of course is the amount of poundage applied that made these impressions
we need a survey

Are the leather seats in the touring / base coupe different from the convertible leather seats? I know this is a non issue with the sport Alcantara seats.

Lou,
I did not know there was a distinction between the grade/type of leather used in the convertible versus the coupe. Presumably to meet the demands of outdoor weather exposure concerns I’d imagine.
