My dealer didn't notify me that my order was accepted, I only found out after I asked 4 weeks in.

Hope my build doesn't force me into a '26. The dealer said there was a possibility I'd have to reorder and start the whole process over again. He said he really didn't know, but stated that Lexus is very tight lipped and there was no telling.

Did they indicate if there was a possibility that the LC wouldn't be available as a '26?

Wondering the same. Spoke to my dealer this week and he’s saying “no 26 model. Guess we’ll need to wait and see.

Lots of speculation flying around, but as of now, there’s still no official word from Lexus confirming the end of LC production. A few dealers are suggesting it, but others are hearing nothing definitive. Until Lexus announces something formally, it’s probably best not to assume either way. That said, given how tight-lipped they can be, it wouldn’t hurt to stay in regular contact with your dealer and keep an eye on how long order acceptances are taking.

Seeing what Lexus has done in the past, it is my belief that there will be an LC Final Edition in the last year of production. They did that in 2019 with the GSF 10th anniversary edition and this year with the RCF Final Edition. IOW, it will go out with a BANG📣 and cost Big Bucks.

My dealer indicated that there would be an LC for '26 (for what it's worth)

Appreciate you sharing that. This is why I think it’s wise not to jump to conclusions just yet. Some dealers are hinting the LC is done after ’25, others are saying ’26 is still happening. Until Lexus makes an official announcement, I’m taking all of it with a grain of salt. The speculation is understandable, but the reality is we just don’t know yet.

Nope. GSF never had a final edition. 2019 MY had an inspiration series with Matte Nebula gray paint and two tone seats interior. They continued to release 2020 as usual and discontinued without any special edition.
Since LC500 always had an inspiration series for almost every MY. I’m not holding my breath for a final edition never mind for something that will go out with a bang. They don’t have any BANG in store. Otherwise, we’ve would’ve seen a LC500 F sport performance or LCF by now.
Cars that don’t have inspiration series will likely receive a “final edition”. GS350, RC(F) are the two that had these final editions and they never had an inspiration series.

RCF got the same 10th anniversary F edition with the matte gray paint and blue interior that the GSF got

I saw somewhere that 25 production of the LC had ended already. I'll see if I can find that message. Lexus could have done much better with the bespoke process. My bespoke order from $5k deposit to delivery was exactly 8 months.

"... stated that Lexus is very tight lipped and there was no telling...." There are understatements and mega-understatements. This is the latter. There is cunning and mega-cunning. This last statement is the former, or the latter, both 6 letter words?

I think there will be a 26 model year and most of the 26 production will be a mono-spec final edition. It is a Toyota thing. That is what they do to close out final production to simplify build out. I think it will be similar to the 80 series final year of production. One maybe two special packages / final editons, then maybe 50% of so of regular production. I am pretty sure 26 is the last run. If I had a bespoke on order I would probably call the 800 help line and document my desire for one. Not complain but just register interest. If they document enough calls then that could lead to more production or a longer run.

There are still 2025s out there and available if you don’t want to wait for a 2026.

Did you want to share the color combo, package, features, options you’re looking to buy?
