Default LC 500 2025 "sunroof"

Newbie here. Shopped on line and just sent a build request to my dealer for special order hardtop. Was not able to be sure the cabin can be totally insulated from light from above. Can someone confirm configuration of sunroof? Understand black glass top and there is no opening to outside air. So is there a sunshade that slides back to a translucent skylight above? And can be closed to eliminate light/heat? Thank you!

Yes there is a shade to slide to enclose the skylight if you don't want to see outside of the roof.

Now that you've lived with that black interior for a while, do you have any regrets about the color choice? I test-drove an LC with a black interior, it sure is dark in there with tinted windows and the visor closed.

I have black interior with the glass roof with 35% tint all around.
Yes, it’s dark. But there’s really no other other choice for me. Maybe the black with some red trims to break the darkness. Definitely not the caramel/tan interior as the reflection would drive me crazy even when I mostly drive with polarized sunglasses.

Not particularly. It is dark but I certainly don't mind that, though I see how others may enjoy more light in the cabin. Being in Florida the less that gets in the better to be honest. With kids and the amount of time they spend in the car (basically everyday unless it's raining) it was certainly the right choice, as much as I still sometimes find myself longing for that white and blue I didn't get.

Great feedback.. I've owned many vehicles and tan/caramel interior was always my fave. Black is classic and I've had it multiple times. Can't go wrong! I just come back to the caramel in this amazing car as it is bright and shows the detail of interior appointments. But we are off topic and administrators will slap? Thanks to all.

I LOVE having a sunroof, so getting an LC 500 without one was a pretty big concern I had as well - especially with the black interior. For some reason, I don't miss it on this car and I also have tinted roll-ups.

It's much more like a spaceship inside so it really doesn't need a sunroof. I also wanted the Performance Package/DHP, so the convertible was not an option I considered. And I don't regret it at all.

Not gonna lie. I did consider the white/blue. However, I looked at our ivory color leather sectionals in our family room and said. Nope.

Put that deposit down if it meets all your criteria!! HUD is nice to have and will help resale if that ever becomes a path you decide to take. At least it's not missing something your really did want!

It’ll be worth the wait! What color/specs did you order?

Here are a couple of quick photos I took in my garage:

CarolinaGeo - nice pics, thanks! i've never seen an lc with a sunroof. that shade/roof is bigger (longer) than i'd imagined.
i don't need/want a sunroof though, especially here in florida, but i guess one advantage is with the shade open there's more headroom?
i have the carbon fiber roof so no glass on mine. love it.

Yes, even here in SCarolina I have to remember to close it on sunny days, as it can contribute to the heat in the car. There might be a skosh more headroom with the shade open, but at 5'8", it's not even a consideration for me! I prefer it strictly for the more open feeling while driving, as well as the increased light in the cabin.

Another great thing about it is this: With a lot of sunroofs that actually open, when you pull back the shade (even if you don't open the sunroof) you get a lot of wind noise. That's what happens with my wife's ES300h. However, since the LC has a non-opening sunroof, there is no wind noise when you pull back the shade. I love the quietness!

I bought some Alcantra sticky cloth on Amazon and pasted it over the airbag sticker.
