Question for convertible owners...
I got my convertible on December 31st this past year. We're just heading into peak convertible weather. I've stored my wind deflector in the attic. Does it make that much of a difference, do you all use them? Driving around town I'm not sure it's necessary but I've noticed some buffeting when I get it up to speed. Thanks.

Keep mine on 99% of the time. In upright position, cabin is isolated extremely well (at speed no fear of losing loose items). Mid position also isolates well but allows enough of a breeze to stay cool on warmer days however, top of windscreen directly in rearview mirror sightline. If it ever fails, I'd def buy another.
Same as most, 100% of the time its installed. Along with the reduction of noise and buffeting, it seems to help with the climate Concierge operation on the colder days when the tops down and the windows are up. With the windows up (top down) it seems to help when driving in congestion, since large trucks exhaust are at ear level, plus the stereo has better reflectivity.

I'll be the dissenter here I suppose. I'm not a fan and don't like the looks. I find that it does help reduce cabin noise and wind but I find the environment completely tolerable without it. Might want to drive around with it in or out to see what you prefer. I have a side project I'm going to tackle this summer to see if the small plexi deflector in the back can be enlarged or replaced so that the fabric deflector isn't needed.
For any SoCal LC owners in need of one. Here's a great deal for you.

I only drive mine with the windscreen up when the top is down. Plus: Makes driving at higher speeds more comfortable and quiet. Minus: Can't see out the back window with top up, Can't fold screen out of the way, takes up too much room to store when not using.
My BMW screens were much better, they folded down out of the way without removing them and they folded into "quarters" and stored behind the back seat when not in use.

I've only had my 2021 since Monday. Drove it 250 miles home on freeway. With top up.
Today, I took a jaunt that combined suburban and freeway. I went top down and put the wind deflector in. I like it! With windows up and deflector in, cabin is quiet and comfortable. When driving around down, I just put all the windows down again.
I have my old, 2006 350Z GTR to compare it too. That thing is loud and the wind buffets one's head and shoulders all around.
