I am trying to determine what Differential comes in a 2022 Inspiration Series Convertible.
I have tried calling and emailing Lexus, no response.
I called a dealer, they said they would check and get back to me.. nothing!
Can anyone smarter than me determine if this Differential has the LSD option or not by looking at these photos?

Maybe if you look up the VIN, it would tell you.
Look under Equipment/Mechanical and Powertrain

 

Thanks I tried the VIN Decoder and it looks like its just general specs of the LC.
Nothing shows the Insp. Series, the Iridium color isnt even listed in the Exterior color section.
This is the only mention of the diff at all: Brake Actuated Limited Slip Differential.

 

The dealer COULD help you. If you supply the vin, he can then look up the original Monroney (Window) sticker. It will be listed there.

 

I have the window sticker, its not listed.
Of all the 2022 Insp. Series Conv. I have seen, none of them had the LSD add on option.
However, looking around at standard Conv. almost everyone I have seen has the LSD add on option.

I am hoping and trying to confirm if the Insp Series Package includes LSD as part of that overall package. I can not find any documentation to support that and thats what I am trying to figure out.
If the Insp. Series package does not include I would be very shocked Lexus would not include that with this "special" edition car.

The Inspiration Series package does include the Performance Damper option, which on reg Convertibles that is part of the LSD option package. It reads "Torsen Limited Slip Diff. & Yamaha Performance Damper."

based on 2021 having it (2020 press release also confirms it), and 2024 having it, I cannot possibly imagine they got rid of it in the 2022 for no reason, even though the 2022 press release (https://pressroom.lexus.com/2022-lex...ax-and-unwind/) does not outright indicate it.

Exactly that's why I am so confused about the 2022. I read all the releases and Lexus brochures and nothing states LSD is included.
I find that really strange!!!
I guess I will just test it once I have it in my possession.

It's only going to show up there if it was added as a standalone option. My bespoke just says BB Bespoke in the app and does not list the LSD separately, since it is part of the Bespoke package, so you may not see it there.

 

Know that the Bespoke build is based off of the Sport package which includes the LSD.
Inspiration series are based on the touring package which does not include the LSD. So if it doesn’t list it on the window sticker, that particular inspiration series does not have it.
What is it in the 2022 inspiration series that you must have? With bespoke build, you can get a car that is better IMO than the inspiration series.
