Question 2024 LC deal feedback

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a used 2024 LC with 500miles for $104k US before taxes and fees (dealer will not budge any further). Sticker price was $109.5k including delivery. It is Lexus Certified and appears to be in like-new condition. It was sold to the first owner earlier this year so the warranty has only just begun on top of the additional 2 years+4 free services with the L/cert.

The car has the dynamic handling package and many of the the extras like HUD, ML sound system, premium paint, all weather floor+cargo mats and some other minor things. The story with the previous owner goes that he was injured at work shortly after buying and no longer could drive it. This seems like a solid deal to me given the slow depreciation of these cars and the fact that finding a brand new coupe with the DHP without BS markups or add-ons has proven to be challenging, but I am interested in your thoughts.

Thank you all in advance

(I'm new here and I apologize if this type of post is not allowed)

If that's 104k out the door it's a great deal. If it is 104k before taxes and fees you have to evaluate if it's a good deal in your eyes because there aren't really a ton of comps to know what it should be priced at.

Personally if it was the color combo I wanted with all the options I wanted i would take it. You are getting 5k off sticker for what is essentially a brand new car with 2 years of extra Lexus backed warranty with no mileage limitation. That's certainly worth something, going by the typical warranty rates which give you 6 extra years for 3k and change, you could say it's worth a little over a grand right there plus the 4 oil changes is another $6-700 of value. Beyond that you're paying some markup for dealer profit and the convenience of having hands on vehicle immediately without a wait.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I've edited the post to specify that $104k is before taxes and fees. It is 100% the color combo and features that I've been looking for, and you've echoed my thoughts exactly about getting a discount on an essentially new car with bonuses in the warranty, services, and some other little extras. Judging by the used listings I've been scoping from the past couple months, it's possible I could get a better deal with patience but who knows how much longer I'd be waiting. Think I just needed some reassurance on this deal from an actual owner. Much appreciated

If it were me, I’d do it pronto, before other buyers see it. I just did much the same on a 600 mile 2024 Audi RS6 Avant Performance. The substantial discount vs new, plus the +2year CPO warranty made it real deal. Do it!

It’s up to you. I think it’s a fair deal and depends how much you’re going to drive it.
I mean, I see many 2018 LC500 with less than 30k miles. So really, what’s the point of having all that extended warranty. So it’s a wash. I know for a fact that my LC500 will be less than 20k miles after 6 years at the rate I’m going now lol.
5k off off MSRP is pretty typical(in my area) and can be more.
But yeah, if it’s the color combo you want then it’s not a bad deal at all. just make sure you go to lexus.com/mylexus and enter the VIN to check if there’s any reason why the car was sold after 500miles. In the service record, if the previous owner has complained about anything, it should be on there. Just make sure you do your due diligence. Trust but verify.

In my opinion when you weigh in all the factors involved this is a very good deal. Congratulations and enjoy it.

Appreciate the insight and the tip. I did check the VIN and history report to confirm that it had zero reported issues. Of course the dealer has their version of the story but thankfully I was wise enough to check first. I'll be taking an extended vacation so I do plan to drive the hell out of it then it will be my daily driver barring the need for the SUV

Thank you for weighing in and confirming what I'd hoped. It seems everyone is in agreement that this is a solid deal so I'm very glad to have found this forum

When I was looking for a new one in 2024, the dealer had 3K off on a 2023 vehicle towards end of 2024. That is the maximum I had seen in my area. When I bought a 2024 Sep production vehicle in Jan 2025, I got just close to 1K off the MSRP. So 5K off on only 500 miles driven car with 2 years of additional warranty + included oil changes + no dealer markups is a nice deal IMO. Since it is the color combo you are looking for then go for it - there is time value of money. Enjoy it.

You could possibly ask for additional oil change, just saying. DHP equipped cars do not have any tools so you may want to ask for a scissor jack and handle as freebie, if the dealer is willing. Dealer may be ok to thrown them in while no change in price on the invoice.

do it! mine was 100k (with dhp, etc.) for a new '21, so 4k more for a car 3 years newer is great.

Like Np20412 said, the extra warranty and free maintenance is a great incentive, plus the colors you want. I just had my LCV at the dealership today (last free visit, a "time" visit (12/10K) since I only have 5700 miles) and they had a Vert for 120,270.00. Now that the weather is breaking up here, they will probably get it. I wish they would offer 4 free maintenance visits for New vehicles also.

Thank you for the feedback everyone, it's been extremely helpful. I'm happy to report that the deal is locked in, deposit sent, and I'll be picking it up in a few days

Wonderful and congratulations!
Once you’ve received your LC 500 post a picture and share your initial driving experience (If you don’t mind). 😊
